Salisbury Resident to have Principal Role in Theatre Production of The Crucible

2014 Sep 30

The renowned Dean College Theatre Department is proud to announce Corinne Apostolides of Salisbury will have a principal role in the production of The Crucible.

The Crucible is a story which focuses on a young farmer, his wife and a young servant girl, who maliciously causes the wife's arrest for witchcraft. The farmer brings the girl to court to admit the lie and it is here that the monstrous course of bigotry and deceit is terrifying depicted. This exciting drama about the Puritan purge of witchcraft in late 17th century Salem is both a gripping historical play and a timely parable of our contemporary society. You won't want to miss this exciting performance!

The Dean College production of The Crucible will take place on the Main Stage within the Campus Center at Dean College at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday - Sunday, with additional matinee performances at 2:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
